ChoirMate keeps repertoire material and shared documents in separate storage systems. A PDF score or practice track attached to a song does not use the choir's Documents and links allowance.

Saved links and folders do not use document storage. File type, file size, role, and upload rules still apply even when the plan has no count limit.
Songs, audio, and sheet music
The Free plan supports up to 15 songs in the choir's repertoire. When the choir reaches that limit, an administrator must remove a song or start a Standard or Premium group subscription before adding another.
A person without paid access can add or record up to 10 audio files across ChoirMate. Access through a Standard or Premium choir subscription, or an individual Premium subscription, removes this count limit. Audio uploads are still checked against the current per-file size limit and supported formats.
Sheet music does not have a plan-based count limit. Scores must be PDFs, and each PDF can be up to 30 MB.

Audio files and sheet music attached to songs are repertoire material. They do not reduce the capacity shown in Documents and links.
Documents and links
The Documents and links library is for shared resources such as rehearsal plans, concert programs, bylaws, images, archives, and web links.
- Free choirs can store up to 5 uploaded files.
- Standard includes 25 MB of document storage.
- Premium includes 100 MB of document storage.
- Saved links do not upload a copy of the linked content, so they do not use storage.
ChoirMate accepts a defined set of common document, image, archive, audio, and video formats. The upload dialog shows an explanation if a file type is unsupported or a file is too large. You can select up to ten files in one upload, but every file must fit within the choir's remaining allowance.
The information button in Documents and links shows current usage and capacity.
Add more document storage
A choir with a paid group subscription can purchase extra document storage in 1 GB units through the account portal. Multiple units can be added when needed.
The storage quantity cannot be reduced below the amount the choir is already using. If the storage add-on is a separate subscription and you want to remove it completely, contact support@choirmate.com.
When a limit is reached
ChoirMate keeps the content that is already stored. The next action depends on the limit:
- At 15 songs on Free, the choir cannot add another song.
- At 10 audio files without paid access, that user cannot add or record another audio file.
- At the document file or capacity limit, the choir cannot upload another file that exceeds the remaining allowance.
You can remove content that is no longer needed, start or upgrade a subscription, or add document storage where available.
After a downgrade
ChoirMate does not automatically delete existing songs or files when a paid plan ends.
If a choir returns to Free with more than 15 songs, ChoirMate applies feature restrictions until an administrator reduces the repertoire or starts a group subscription. The account itself is not frozen.
Document storage is not reduced below the volume already in use. Existing files remain available, but new uploads require free capacity or a suitable storage allowance.
