Start with the short checks below. They solve most temporary loading and startup problems without changing your ChoirMate account or choir data.
Try these first
- Close ChoirMate completely, then open it again.
- Confirm that another app or website can reach the internet.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, if both are available.
- Install the latest ChoirMate update from the App Store or Google Play.
- Restart the phone or tablet.
If ChoirMate asks you to sign in again, use the same email address as before. Signing in with another address can make it look as though the choir or account content is missing.
Info
If ChoirMate opens and only one feature fails, use the guide for that feature. For example, see Audio Not Playing when the rest of the app works.
If the loading screen does not finish
Check whether the connection is stable, not only whether the device shows a Wi-Fi or mobile-data symbol. Open a new website, then try ChoirMate again.
If the problem affects only one network, use the working network for now. A workplace, school, rehearsal venue, VPN, DNS filter, or firewall can sometimes block a service the app needs.
Also check for a message inside ChoirMate about maintenance, a known issue, or a required update. Follow the action in that message before reinstalling the app.
If the app closes unexpectedly
- Install the newest app version and any available device-system update.
- Make sure the device has free storage for the app, temporary files, and updates.
- On Android, open Settings, then Apps, ChoirMate, and Storage, and choose Clear cache. Do not clear storage or app data unless support asks you to.
- Note whether the crash always happens after the same action. That detail is useful if you contact support.
Reinstall ChoirMate only after the other steps fail. Confirm that you know the account email and that important recent changes have synchronized first. Reinstalling removes downloaded and cached files from the device, but choir content already synchronized to your account remains in ChoirMate.
If ChoirMate does not load in a browser
At web.choirmate.com, try the following in order:
- Reload the page.
- Open it in a private or incognito window.
- Update the browser or try a current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
- Temporarily disable content blockers, privacy extensions, or a VPN for the ChoirMate site.
- Clear ChoirMate's site data, then sign in again.
Clearing site data signs you out. Make sure you know the account email before doing it.
Send useful details to support
If the same problem continues, contact support@choirmate.com from the email address registered with your account. Include:
- what you see, such as a blank screen, endless loading, a crash, or an exact error message
- the action immediately before the problem
- whether it happens in the mobile app, on the web, or both
- the device model, operating-system version, ChoirMate version, and browser version where relevant
- the choir name, if the issue affects one choir
- a screenshot or short screen recording, if possible
Never send your password. If ChoirMate still opens far enough to show a support or feedback action, using it can include technical details that help diagnose the problem.
