The public choir website requires a Premium group subscription.
ChoirMate can publish a public website for your choir without a separate website builder. You choose what visitors see, while event details and selected choir information stay connected to ChoirMate.
Request your website
Website activation starts in ChoirMate on the web.

Open the choir home page
Sign in to ChoirMate on a computer and open your choir. Administrators with an active Premium group subscription see Webpage offer from ChoirMate on Home.

Open the activation request
Select Activate public website. Read the activation information, then choose Request activation.
Activation is not immediate and can sometimes take a few business days. ChoirMate notifies you when the website is ready and gives you the next steps.

The mobile subscription page lists Premium public website as part of the Premium package. The activation request itself is currently started from ChoirMate on the web.
Add the essential choir information
After the website has been provisioned, open Website Customization from the app Menu or from the website section on the web home page. Start with Customize group information.
Add:
- a wide choir photo
- a short introduction for the front page
- a longer description of the choir
These three items are the minimum content ChoirMate checks for. You can also add contact text, rehearsal times, social media links, a privacy policy, and a short story about how ChoirMate helps your choir.
Choose what visitors can explore
The website manager separates the remaining content into focused sections:
- Photos for a public image gallery
- Repertoire samples and videos for short audio samples and video links
- Highlighted members for featured singers, conductors, or other people
- Member quotes for personal experiences from the choir
- Settings for the color palette, logo, permissions, and other website choices
ChoirMate shows the current duration limit when you add an audio sample. Pick a short excerpt that you have permission to publish.
Publish an event
Events begin in the ChoirMate calendar. Open an event for administration and choose Enable event on website. Add an event photo, then review the public name, description, date, time, ticket link, and event link.
The name, description, and schedule use the calendar event as their default. You can replace them for the public website without changing the event choir members see in ChoirMate.
Tip
An event photo is required before the event can appear on the public website.
Let members control their profile
Each member controls whether their own profile appears. Under Website Customization, choose Customize your information, enable Show me on our website, and review the name, photo, role, and name visibility.
Choir administrators can also add up to three highlighted members and separate member quotes. These are curated website sections and do not replace each member's own visibility choice.
Adjust the design and editing access
In Website Customization > Settings, you can choose a color palette and add a logo. If the logo already contains the choir name, you can hide the separate name in the header.
Administrators can also decide whether website editing requires the Admin or Editor role. Advanced settings include product branding and analytics identifiers. A verified custom domain is used when one is configured; otherwise ChoirMate uses the website address created for the choir.
Remember that the website is public
Anyone with the website address can view published content. Before publishing a photo, recording, quote, or profile, make sure the choir has permission to share it.
