🚀 Getting Started
You start by creating the choir in ChoirMate through the app, which can be downloaded on your phone or tablet. Then you invite choir members using a special invitation link.
A good test is conducted by adding sheet music and rehearsal tracks through the app or web version. You can also add activities to the calendar, such as weekly choir rehearsals, so that attendance can be recorded.
ChoirMate is available as a native app for iOS (iPhone and iPad, requires iOS 16 or later) and Android (requires Android 8.0 Oreo or later). You can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
You can also use ChoirMate on your PC or Mac through the web version at web.choirmate.com. The web version works in any modern browser and is great for managing content, uploading files, and handling administration.
You can use the same account across all your devices — just log in and everything syncs automatically.
If you have an Android phone or tablet, you can turn on automatic updates in Google Play.

The app is ideal for daily use, practice, and offline access. The web version is great for administration, uploading files, and managing content from a larger screen. Both stay in sync with the same account.
💰 Pricing & Subscriptions
It's reasonably priced, or free with some limitations. Over 100,000 singers worldwide use ChoirMate, and our goal is for all choirs to be able to enjoy using the world's best tool for choirs, regardless of their financial situation. An average-sized choir pays a total of USD 25 per month when paid annually, which gives all members access to most features.
Alternatively, the choir can use ChoirMate for free with some limitations, where members have the option to individually upgrade to full access for USD 3.99 per month.
Choir Admins can set up payment through the web version (web.choirmate.com) by entering the choir's payment method. We accept debit and credit cards as well as PayPal.
Some choirs do not have their own payment card. In these cases, most resolve this by refunding the member who pays with their private card. A receipt is issued when payment is due.
You can choose to pay monthly or annually. Annual payment gives a discount and simplifies reimbursement.
Free gives basic access with some limitations, such as restricted offline mode and limited storage. Great for trying out ChoirMate.
Standard gives the entire choir full access to most features, including offline mode, unlimited repertoire storage, and attendance tracking.
Premium includes everything in Standard, plus extra document storage, advanced features, and priority support.
Discount codes are used when entering your payment method to subscribe to a group subscription. Look for the "Add Discount" button during checkout.
Referral codes can be redeemed by contacting us at support@choirmate.com. Referral codes are valid when you recruit conductors or choir members who are not already using ChoirMate, from choirs you are not already a part of.

You can manage and cancel your subscription through the web version (web.choirmate.com). There is no lock-in period, and you can cancel at any time.

Yes! ChoirMate offers two ways to store files:
1. Unlimited Repertoire Storage (included in all paid group plans):
Store unlimited sheet music (PDF) and audio files (MP3 or M4A) for each song. No storage limit for your choir's core musical materials. A fair use policy applies to ensure a great experience for all choirs.
2. Additional Document Storage (for other choir materials):
The Document Storage feature provides dedicated space for files beyond your repertoire:
- Store any type of file (documents, photos, videos, etc.) and add links to external resources
- Organize with folders and subfolders
- Control access with folder-level permissions
- Storage capacity: 25 MB with Standard, 100 MB with Premium
- Optional storage extensions available on request
🔐 Account & Security
Here are some common solutions:
- Make sure you are using the same email address you registered with
- Check your spam folder if you're waiting for a verification email
- Try resetting your password using the "Forgot password" link on the login screen
- Make sure your app is updated to the latest version
- If you signed up with Google or Apple, make sure to use the same sign-in method

We take both privacy and security seriously. You own all content that is entered into ChoirMate. Everything is protected with state-of-the-art security technology to the highest industry standard. No one else can access data belonging to your user account or your choir, as it is protected by authentication and group membership.
